Patricia DeMers, President
Pat has extensive experience in Executive Coaching, Training Design and Facilitation, Human Resources Management, Performance Management and more. She possesses over twenty years of experience in Training & Development and Human Resources, has been nominated for 4 consecutive years for Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by RBC, and is the past President of the Peel/Halton Chapter of the Canadian Society of Training and Development.
Shelley Kralik-Vella, Senior Vice President Overseeing the management of ETL in Pat’s absence, Shelley ensures that our clients consistently receive superior products and results. Shelley has over 20 years of human resources management experience in the areas of Recruitment, Employee Relations, Pension & Benefits, Training and more.
Dianne McAlpine, Director, Enterprise Solutions
Dianne helps to build the infrastructure that will provide a solid business foundation for ETL’s ongoing growth. Dianne has applied her Engineering and MBA degrees in over twenty years of progressive technical, managerial and executive experience in the high tech industry focused on business and human resource management, product and market development, team building, and customer support.
Facilitation
Kim Sherwin, Senior Facilitator
Over the past ten years Kim has perfected her facilitation skills and has become a specialist in programs such as: Project Management, Time and Stress Management, Business Writing and Effective Supervision. Kim is frequently contracted by our clients as a personal coach, helping them to improve their communication skills and overcome leadership challenges.
Louise Courtemanche, Senior Facilitator
Louise has 13 years of executive experience in team leadership, strategic planning, and people development, in a global context. Through executive coaching and training, Louise helps organizations overcome business challenges in leadership, change management, marketing, and international business. Having studied, worked, and lived in Canada and Europe, Louise has developed valuable insight into managing cultural diversity and change. She is fluent in French, English, German, and Luxembourguish, and proficient in Spanish.
Carol Simpson, Senior Facilitator
Carol’s role at Excel Thru Learning is to provide facilitation skills as well as one-on-one Performance Coaching. With over 12 years of Coaching, Counselling, and facilitation experience, Carol partners with the client, develops a relationship and works toward clear outcomes and strategies to reach organizational and personal goals. Carol has international experience and a background in Industrial Psychology and Career Counselling.
Lucie Bouchard, Senior Bilingual Facilitator
Lucie is a well-known consultant in the field of adult education and organizational development, with more than 20 years of experience training and coaching managers at every level. She has worked with many major corporations in the retail, telecom, insurance, banking and engineering industries, as well as educational institutions. As a fully bilingual facilitator, Lucie can expertly and confidently deliver training content in both English and French.
Business Development
Evan Badura, Director, Business Development
Evan’s role is developing new business at Excel Thru Learning. His past experience with a world-wide corporation gives him great insight into the challenges large organizations face with hiring, retaining and motivating employees. Evan is currently working on his CHRP designation to further enhance his knowledge of training and development and human resources management.
James Wills, Director, Business Development
As a Business Development Director, James' primary role is to expand ETL's client base within south western Ontario and northern USA. Coming from a background in education, James brings with him a strong desire to promote success and enhance learning opportunities for all contacts. He currently holds a Masters degree in Sociology, an Ontario College of Teachers Certificate, an HBa in Criminology and a Minor in Psychology. James' life experience translates into excellent customer service and people focus. He currently operates out of our satellite office in Sarnia, Ontario.
Design and Administration
Laurie Nava, Program Design Manager
Laurie manages the design and administration team as well as coordinates online assessments. Laurie creates marketing initiatives that will promote the company to current customers as well as future prospects. She designs all marketing materials, web site content and coordinates trade shows and other events. Laurie has been with the team for over 7 years.
Maggie Cruz, Sales Assistant
Maggie is our newest member and she primarily assists the Sales team drive and execute their initiatives and business development plans. She is a well seasoned professional in the areas of Administration, Sales and Marketing by working with large international organizations and midsized companies. With her passion for communication, quality and customer service, Maggie is a welcomed addition to the ETL team.
